I am the operations manager and microscope specialist of the Cell Biology and Image Acquistion Core Facility at the Faculty of Medicine of UOttawa, Canada. I obtained my Ph.D. at the JRU Fruit Biology at Université Bordeaux1, France. After 2 years as a post-doc in plant biochemistry at the Center for Plant Science Innovation of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA, I spent 2 years and half in the lab of Dr Geitman at the Research Institute for Plant Biology (IRBV) of Université de Montréal, Canada. I then became the research associate to Dr A. Piekny at Concordia University, with whom I managed the Centre for Microscopy and Cellular Imaging for almost 5 years. For 12 years I have learnt technics in different fields like molecular biology, biochemistry and my favorites cell biology and microscopy. I believe that, in order to understand our world and mechanisms, one needs to be open minded and uses all available resources to discover and to expand our knowledge everyday.
